A WRITTEN RESPONSE FOR EACH ITEM LISTED BELOW IS REQUIRED THAT SPECIFICALLY IDENTIFIES THE REVISION OR CORRECTION BEING MADE. BUBBLE OR HIGHLIGHT ALL REVISED DETAILS AND DRAWINGS ON NEWLY SUBMITTED PLAN SHEETS. IF THESE CORRECTION ITEMS ARE ON STAMPED PAGES THEY WILL REQUIRE THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL OF THAT DISCIPLINE TO PROVIDE AND STAMP THESE NEW PAGES OF CORRECTIONS. Please provide a letter addressing the fowling corrections: ? 1. Please provide soils report within one year or a letter from engineer of record reactivating the original dated 7/31/2008. ? 2. Engineering is required for this foundation design, please provide. ? 3. Provide missing engineering called out on the architectural plans. (Garage door headers) ? 4. Please identify the rest of the door and window headers, include kings and trimmers. Is the interior wall a load bearing wall? Please identify the header for 10’ opening, engineering maybe required. ? 5. Please provide truss layout for the submitted truss packet. Trusses show open space within, what will it be used for? How will the space be accessed? Will the building have an enclosed attic? ? 6. What is the area next to the main garage will be used for? Habitable space? Please identify. ? 7. Garage sink is required to be tied into septic system, please apply for a septic permit. ? 8. Please provide a cross section for the construction of the garage. CONSTRUCTION DETAILS / CROSS SECTIONS o A minimum of one dimensioned cross section taken through the entire structure shall be provided. More than one cross section may be required to clearly portray construction. Cross sections shall clearly show the following items: o Finish grades. o Foundation detail with floor/wall connection. o Type, size, and spacing of wall studs. o Number of top and bottom plates. o Elevation of each level. o Interior / exterior wall, ceiling, floor, and roof materials. o Insulation method and R-value for all walls, floors, ceilings. o Attachment of wall to roof system. o Stair construction to include rise/run dimensions, handrails, guardrails, head clearance, landings, stringer connection detail, and fire protection on underside. o Ensure that all cross sections and construction details are clearly referenced on the corresponding floor plan. o Include any details of non-typical construction. o Any wall over 10 feet tall requires an engineered framing detail. o Ensure that all cross section details match all accompanying engineering plans, details, and notes. If any discrepancies exist between engineering and architectural sheets, the building plans will not be accepted.
